Little League Fundraiser
INFO
If you are taking lessons/classes this fall, you may be interested in lowering your tuition bill. SOTA is raising funds by volunteering to work at the Little League World Series Concession Stands. The only thing volunteers need, is to fill out the background check form online and to bring your ID with you when you arrive for your shift.
Many days of the Little League World Series, SOTA has committed to provide help in the concession stand.
SOTA volunteers will not be cooking food. They will take orders and fill orders - working directly with the customer or packaging food.
Volunteers (SOTA students, family, extended family and friends) must be at least 16 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and will be required to complete a LL specific background check (link below) as well as food safety training, workplace violence resolution training, Payment Card Industries and customer service training on site when you arrive for your shift.
All Group Volunteers will be provided with a Sportservice ID badge, uniform shirt, and apron. Group Volunteers will provide their own black pants, shorts, or capris. Group Volunteers must wear closed toe, closed heel shoes, with socks on, at all times in the Concession Stand. A white shirt only is permitted to be worn underneath the Sportservice uniform shirt. A Sportservice uniform hat or a Group logo hat must be worn.
3 shifts are available each day for 10 SOTA volunteers on each shift. You may sign up for as many shifts as you like. If you work 2 shifts = a $50 reduction on your fall SOTA bill. If you work 4 shifts = a $100 reduction on your fall SOTA bill. Want to work more than 4 shifts and increase the bill reduction? Contact Todd at the SOTA office to get details. sotalessons@gmail.com
